Abstract Submission


The Organizing and the Scientific Committees of the 7th International Bacterial Wilt Symposium are pleased to invite authors to submit abstracts and kindly request authors who had previously submitted abstracts to submit them again.

Papers will be presented as posters or via oral presentation.

Opens: 1 September, 2022
Closes: 28 November, 2022
Notification to authors: 9 December, 2022


GENERAL GUIDELINES

• Abstract should be written in English.
• Abstract titles should be short, but descriptive. Informative titles, indicating key points are encouraged. Abbreviations should not be used in the title.
• List of all authors and affiliations, and the email address of the presenting author should be included after the title.
• The main text of the abstract should be between 250-300 words.
• Abstract should include purpose of study, methodology, summary of findings/results, conclusion and significance/contributions of study.
• Do not include subheadings, bullets, lists and header/footer in the abstract.
• There shall be no citations or references in the abstract specifically. If there is a need to cite references, please provide the sources in brackets.
• All abstracts should be written in MS Word format (DOC or DOCX), and save using this format: “LastName.doc”
• All abstracts must be submitted trough the website link 

FORMAT

• Title: Times New Roman, 14 points in bold
• Authors and affiliations: Times New Roman 12 points, non-bold text
• Body: Times New Roman, 12 points, non-bold text
• All text justified and with single spacing.

AFFILIATIONS

• Affiliations should be indicated with superscript Arabic numbers appearing at the end of surname/family name of each author.
• The name of the presenting author should be underlined, and the corresponding email should be provided after affiliations.
• Example:

Surname INITIALS 1, Surname INITIALS 1 and Surname INITIALS 2

2 Department, Institute, Country
